Funding boost for Everybody Online - Caithness
Everybody Online Caithness has been successful in its most recent funding bid, securing £1500 from TESCO Charity Trust.
The funding will be used towards the costs of IT equipment which will be used within the Caithness community.
Everybody Online has been running in Caithness for just over 7 months and to date the project has been going well and has embedded itself into the local community groups. However up to this point the project has been reliant on other groups IT equipment to run its computer and internet sessions. This new funding will allow the project to purchase its own equipment which can be used in the more rural areas of Caithness, where equipment is limited.
Project Officer, Shona commented, ‘This new funding is a great boost for the project and will benefit many of the community groups across Caithness, helping and supporting them to get online.’
